Monday, January 15.

Registration is limited to 40 participants total and participants are strongly encouraged to attend in interdisciplinary teams. The
institute will admit between 10-20 teams depending on team size. Any team from a high school, two- or four-year college or university
may apply. We are committed to helping institutions successfully start and strengthen their math across the disciplines programs.
Teams may be at any stage of the program development. Each application will be reviewed for development and clarity of project focus.
The team should be constructed based on the team's goals and should have equal or higher number of non-math faculty. The team should
show institutional support to ensure implementation of the curriculum developed at the institute.
Applications must be postmarked or submitted online by October
16, 2006. Applications will then be reviewed and applicants will be notified
no later than November 16th, 2006. Those who are accepted will be sent a short
additional registration form to return. Completed registration forms with registration
fees must be received by December 8th, 2006.
Cancellation Policy: The Winter Institute will be held only if a
minimum enrollment is reached by OCT 16th, 2006. If minimum enrollment
is not met, the Institute will be cancelled. AMATYC takes no
responsibility for any expenses incurred. Registrants who choose to
cancel must do so before December 8. After that date no refund of
registration fees will be given but the registration may be transferred
to another person of the same gender from the same institution.
The application includes an application form with a list of
team members and a short narrative of your teams' goals and objectives. A letter
of support from an administrator describing your institution's support for math
across the curriculum is encouraged but not required. Applications must be postmarked
