Graduates receiving ATA and AAS degrees, as well as certificates of 45 credits or more, will be able to
Use Mathematics to solve problems appropriate to the program or discipline,
Provide Quantitative support for qualitative information where appropriate, and
Communicate quantitative information through the use of mathematical notations, graphs, charts, tables, symbols, or standard English
Business Management Degree
Quantitative Skills Outcomes
Use mathematics to solve typical, everyday quantitative business issues and problems involving whole numbers, fractions and decimals, as well as to solve for unknowns using simple equations with one unknown.
Ability to read, interpret, and develop quantitative business information using mathematical notations, symbols, and/or standard English. This will include basic statistical expressions such as mean, median, mode, graphs and charts.
Explain the costs and benefits of simple financial choices encountered both in business and by private consumers.
Use personal computers and other tools most commonly used by businesses to obtain, store, organize, manipulate, and communicate quantitative information.
