Project Description:
"Math as a Cult[ure]" is an ongoing project from last year which integrates mathematics and writing. Products include a coordinated study between Intermediate Algebra & Freshman Composition & Research & Persuasive Writing in fall 2002 as well as ongoing guest lectures by me in sciences and by math instructor and co-collaborator Erik Scott in Writing classes. Subjects covered include use of statistics in writing, symbolic logic incorporation in math classes, etc.
