Wally
Strong, Lois Sabol and Marty Meister at Yakima Valley Community College plan to
integrate the use of quantitative data and analysis in their sociology and
ethnic studies courses.
In a series of four assignments they will explore the following
mathematical concepts:
Represent data graphically.
Interpret
data from data sets or graphs.
Make
inferences or conclusions from data sets.
Analyze data to answer a series of questions.
