Using Excel to Construct Graphs And Analyzing the Results

Our goal:

To produce more quantitatively fluent program graduates who are compassionate and focused.  These professionals will credit our world with clear thinking, organized intervention, and competent service as educators, counselors, and service providers for youth and the elderly.

 Purpose:

Graphs are a means for understanding and describing the world around us.  If a picture is worth a thousand words, a graph is worth even more.  The language of graphs is a universal way to communicate relationships and patterns.  Graphs help us make sense of information and represent it in a systematic way.  Collecting, graphing and interpreting information, particularly with the use of technology, are skills that will help students make sense of information and communicate that understanding.  Those skills will transfer to other classes as well as be useful on the job.
