PLAN OF ACTION

For Art History I (ARH 2050):

Use the history of the development of the pyramidal construction form in Egyptian architecture to explain to the students how these forms evolved utilizing both mathematics and geometry to achieve the perfect pyramid.

For Art History II (ARH 2051):

Show students images of paintings done since the Renaissance to demonstrate how particular painters have used mathematical concepts in their approach to compositional design, ultimately resulting in major revolutionary twentieth century art movements.
