Course Description: Discover the relationship between Algebra & Economics! By integrating and reinforcing math skills (Intermediate Algebra, MAT 1033) into Principles of Macroeconomics (ECO 2013) and exposing current algebra students to relevant application of these skills, students in both courses will be encouraged and motivated to apply the content learned.
Administrative Logistics
- Paired Learning Community (LC) where students co-register for both courses
- Registration System includes note that students must register for both courses
- Retention Specialist monitors course registration to ensure dual enrollment
- These courses are offered back to back in the same classroom:
- ECO 2013 is MWF 9:00 – 9:50 AM
- MAT 1033 is MWF 10:00 – 10:50 AM
