Overview:  Students should realize that math is essential and relevant in their field of study.  By teaching the math topics in the science courses and taking science examples back to the math courses, the students realize that math is relevant and worth the effort.  This can be assessed through a survey.  This outcome is a piece of one of our QEP goals – improving attitudes towards mathematics.
