Prior to the class, a circular multiple-leg trail has been designed using a series of waypoint stations, each with instructions for navigating to the next station.

Materials needed:

  3. Using your topographic map, go to the intersection of the Popo Agie River and road coming into the Sinks Canyon Center and mark station 4 on your map before obtaining your “word”.
  4. To find and mark station 5, walk upstream the Popo Agie to a point that is (xxxo) from station 2.  Obtain your fourth “word”.
  5. Using your GPS, return to station 1 to complete the navigation trail.  Your fifth “word” will be given to you by your instructor upon submitting your map.

The words, “Ice Cream in Kitchen” will provide a much deserved reward.
